The Free Gondola to Telluride-Mountain Village Station is a cool way to get around in style. It's like a scenic joyride through the mountains, with killer views and zero cost to you. Hop on at either end - Telluride or Mountain Village - and enjoy the 12-minute ride that'll take you up and over Coonskin Ridge. This FREE ride is dog friendly and one of the very best ways to soak up fall colors in Telluride.

I recommend parking in the FREE parking garage in Mountain Village and making the ride round trip down to Telluride and back.
