This is a point to point hike in Capitol Reef National Park. Most recommend starting at the top and working your way down, but if you're doing this as a loop hike, you have 3 miles uphill at the end of your hike. You will also see many people hitchhiking up and down. If you have two vehicles, you may also park one at the visitor center and the other at the upper trailhead. You can also do this hike as an out and back from the visitor center (1.7 miles RT) and this will take you to the lower waterfall. You may go further, but you WILL get wet and climbing up the falls may be difficult, especially if its cold weather.
Be prepared to get wet and dress accordingly.
