Gothic Mountain via Washington Gulch is a 7.5 mile RT trail with 3000’ elevation gain that is a QUAD burner and extremely steep. With few switchbacks, you can count on gaining elevation quickly. Hiking poles are extremely helpful. The photo shown is from the false summit and one of my favorite fall hikes simply for the golden views.
