Fisher Towers is one of the best hikes in Moab outside of the National Parks. I've lost count how many times I've hiked this one, but it remains one of my favorites. It is both kid and dog friendly, but there are so steep ledges where I would keep both under control.
If going in the winter, be sure and pack microspikes. I would steer clear if its actively raining; this trail can get some dangerous rock fall.
