Kebler Pass is a scenic high-mountain route that connects Crested Butte with Paonia in Colorado. Known for its stunning fall aspens, this 30-mile gravel road takes about two hours to drive and reaches an elevation of 10,007 feet. It's a popular spot for camping, biking, and hiking, offering breathtaking views of the West Elk Mountains. The pass is open from late May to early November and provides a picturesque shortcut to Aspen in the Roaring Fork Valley.
PRO TIP - Kebler Pass seems to always turn at least a week after the town of Crested Butte itself. I find Kebler to be peak around the same time as the San Juans, especially Dallas Divide
