Surgeons' Hall Museums is a fascinating and slightly creepy place to visit in Edinburgh. It's housed in a beautiful old building and is home to one of the biggest collections of surgical pathology in the UK. You can see all sorts of weird and wonderful things here, like a book supposedly made from William Burke's skin (yes, that Burke from Burke and Hare). They've got exhibits on everything from dental history to historic tooth extraction methods. It's definitely not your average museum, but if you're into medical oddities and gruesome history, it's well worth a visit. Plus, they're open every day and you don't even need to book in advance.
