The famous Kilt Rock is a sea cliff in north east Trotternish. It is said to resemble a kilt, with vertical basalt columns to form the pleats and intruded sills of dolerite forming the pattern.

Kilt Rock on the Isle of Skye in Scotland is a rad cliff that totally looks like a giant kilt. It's made up of cool basalt columns sitting on a sandstone base, giving it a tartan-like appearance. Plus, nearby Mealt Falls adds to the epic scenery by cascading down the cliffs into the rocky coast below. And get this - when the wind blows just right, the fencing around the lookout point turns into a makeshift organ, creating an eerie yet beautiful sound. So, if you're ever in Skye, don't miss out on this awesome natural wonder!
