Dunrobin Castle, located in the Highland area of Scotland, is a stately home and the family seat of the Earl of Sutherland. Originally built in the Middle Ages, the castle was extensively remodeled in the 19th century by Sir Charles Barry, giving it a Scottish Baronial style with French Renaissance influences. The castle boasts 189 rooms, making it the largest in the northern Highlands, and features beautiful gardens inspired by the Gardens of Versailles. Visitors can explore the castle's rich history, impressive architecture, and picturesque grounds, including a museum displaying trophy heads, ethnographic items, and archaeological artifacts.
