I usually check if this place is open when I'm in Nozawa. My first visit here goes back to 2011 when I was introduced to Nameko mushroom miso soup! If you can get anything with those delicious slimely local mushrooms you gotta get that! The ramen is great here as is the katsudon. Go with the teishoku (set meal) to get that great miso!

This place is run by an elderly husband and wife and the atmosphere here feels like old school Japan
