How to Get There from El Chaltén:
🚗 The trailhead is about 37 km from El Chaltén, and can be reached by car, taxi, or shuttle (approximately 1 to 1.5 hours).
🚌 Alternatively, you can take a shuttle service that operates from El Chaltén to Lago del Desierto.
Trail Options in the same path
🟢 Lagunaverde Trail: This shorter version of the trek (around 3.5 km) offers fantastic views of the Cagliero Glacier and Laguna Verde, making it a great option for those short on time.
🔵 Laguna Azul Trail: For a more extended experience, this trail leads to Laguna Azul, providing stunning views of the glacier and the surrounding landscape. It is an additional 3.5 km from Lagunaverde, so adding both trails will give you a total of about 12 km.
