Corpach is a vibrant coastal village in the Scottish Highlands, located north of Fort William. Situated at the head of Loch Linnhe and nestled on the outskirts of Glen Nevis, Corpach offers breathtaking views of Scotland's beautiful vistas. It's a popular destination for exploring the hills and lochs in the area. In addition to its scenic charm, Corpach was once home to WW1 and WW2 naval bases, with historic buildings that remain at the site today. The town's name, interestingly enough, is derived from an ancient Gaelic phrase meaning "the field of corpses". Happily, you'll find this peaceful town full of life where visitors can enjoy the wonders of nature.
