Best sights of Raja Ampat

When arriving in Sorong early in the morning by flight from Bali or Jakarta, take the 9 a.m. ferry from Sorong to Waisai. Once you arrive in Waisai, arrange for a local boat from your accommodation (contact them in advance) to take you to your stay.

I highly recommend staying at Terimakasih Homestay if you're looking for good food, shared boat options, and an amazing house reef. We stayed here for the entire week. You can also choose to stay at two different places during your visit, but I wouldn’t recommend more than that, as traveling between locations takes time and cost money.

On your first day, enjoy some lunch, go snorkeling, and in the evening, plan your tours for the upcoming days with your homestay. Check if you can share boats with other guests to reduce costs.
