So your kiddos may not be ready to take on Yr Wyddfa (snowdon), but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the spectacular sights that can be found on her trails. The crystal clear, turquoise waters of the watkins pools are definitely one not to miss!

There are options to extend this to a longer walk. And there are various places along the route you may want to stay and paddle for a while.
DIFFICULTY: MODERATE
The path is a well maintained and an easy underfoot gravel footpath, but is mostly uphill. The path that veers off to the pools can be muddy and slippery.
AGE SUITABILITY: 4/5YRS+
The path is mostly easy underfoot and would be suitable for most aged children who are used to longer climbs.
