The hike to the Base of the Torres del Paine is the most famous and popular hike in the park. This can be seen self-guided in high season and with a certified guide during low season. The ideal time is from October to April.

Distance: 22 km difficulty: medium

I recommend taking good shoes and a jacket for the rain and wind.

You can take tours from Puerto Natales or rent a car and go on your own, for this you must arrive at the Welcome Center a few kilometers from the entrance to Laguna Amarga.
