The Glacier Gorge (Gletscherschlucht) in Grindelwald is a stunning natural attraction where visitors can walk through a dramatic rock canyon carved by the Lower Grindelwald Glacier over thousands of years. Located just a short distance from the center of Grindelwald, this gorge offers a unique experience with towering rock walls, rushing glacial waters, and interactive elements that make the visit both exciting and educational.

A well-maintained wooden walkway leads visitors 1 kilometer into the gorge, following the milky-blue Lütschine River as it carves its way through the rock. The Glacier Gorge is located about 35 minutes on foot from the center of Grindelwald or can be reached in 5 minutes by bus or car. Parking is available at the entrance.
