This is a perfect base for exploring the area. The lodge is much newer than the Ginreiso next door. The best part is the location—perfect for those looking to catch both the sunset and sunrise.

One of my favorite memories was waking up early and taking a short 15-minute walk to witness the sunrise. The night sky was stunning as well, with clear views of the stars. If you're planning to hike Mt. Norikura and want a simple, affordable place to stay that's close to all the action, this is a fantastic choice.
