Kerid Crater is part of the golden circle and a very popular stop. There's a big parking lot with plenty of space and you need to pay a small fee to enter (pay per person). The walk to the crater is less than 5 min and once there you can either walk around it or all the way down to the water.

There are steps up to the edge of the crater but once there the path is mostly gravel with a few rocky areas. To get close to the water you'll need to climb down a good number of steps.

NOTE: ownership of this attraction and the surrounding land has recently changed (autumn 2023) and changes to the parking/entrance fees, amenities, and accessibility may be coming.
