We actually stumbled upon Hakusan Ichirino Ski Resort by accident, and it turned out to be an amazing find!

It’s a fantastic off-the-beaten-path spot, perfect for a day trip from Kanazawa.

The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and once you’re there, it’s super affordable.

Day passes for the slopes are cheap, and you can rent ski gear and clothing on-site.

There are lockers for your bags too. We even took a snowboarding lesson, though English is limited, so we got by with hand gestures and Google Translate.

Highly recommend this for anyone not heading to Hakuba and looking for a one-day adventure!
