The Maroon Bells are a pair of stunning peaks in the Elk Mountains of Colorado, known for their distinctive maroon color and breathtaking views. Due to their popularity, a bus service runs from Aspen Highlands to Maroon Lake, offering access to various hiking trails in the Maroon Bells–Snowmass Wilderness.

Reservations are required to access the Maroon Bells Scenic Area and related amenities. Choose between private vehicle trailhead parking permits from May 15 through October 31, 2024, or RFTA shuttle reservations from May 24 through October 20, 2024.
