Just came home from our 9 day trip in Iceland. This guide was very helpful in planning our ring road trip and helped us discover places we normally wouldn’t have found!

Our November trip to Iceland was nothing short of magical, and Jan planned this itinerary to perfection! Every single day was thoughtfully planned to balance adventure, relaxation, and jaw-dropping scenery. From the moment we landed, everything flowed seamlessly—from picking up our car and diving straight into Reykjavík’s charm, to finishing our trip with soothing geothermal spas.

Highlights? Too many to count! The volcano helicopter tour gave us unreal aerial views, the Golden Circle route introduced us to Iceland's raw power and beauty. Chasing waterfalls on the south coast, walking black sand beaches in Vík, glacier hikes, spotting the Northern Lights multiple nights and even whale watching - This itinerary had it all.

The accommodations were cozy and well-located, and the food spots along the way, like the Fríðheimar tomato farm added such a fun flavor to the trip.

We loved how flexible the last day was, offering relaxing options before the flight home. Whether you're into adventure, nature, culture, or just pure relaxation—this trip checks all the boxes. Iceland in November was pure magic, and we’re already dreaming of going back.

Our two weeks in Iceland was both more and less than we expected… but the trip would have been so much less rewarding if not for the phenomenal services of Jan Dancak! If we hadn’t enlisted Jan’s help, there’s a real chance we would have returned home disappointed and unfulfilled. We, like so many others, were seduced by the extraordinary images designed to lure us into the fantastic landscapes of Iceland. As reality came into view with many of the well-hyped attractions, we were enormously grateful for the wealth of information in Jan’s guide, coupled with the insightful feedback we received from his review. Finding the hidden gems that are often neglected or overlooked made the difference between an ordinary trip and an epic adventure. Where Jan really distinguished himself is when he facilitated a special request. One of my ‘dreams’ was to photograph Elliðaey Island, also known as the location of ‘the loneliest house in the world.’ When I learned that it was actually one of five islands in the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago, I wanted to find a way to get close enough to photograph ALL of them! This would be the zenith of this epic journey! This kind of request isn’t ‘on the menu’, but Jan put me in touch with a pilot who would give us a private tour over the islands! As we headed to the airport, today, we both had the same thought at nearly the same time…this trip wouldn’t have been half the success it was if not for Jan… -921 things to do, including accommodations -Tour recommendations -Drone registration and operation guidance -Photography tips I could go on, ad nauseam, so I’ll simple say, “thank you, will never adequately express our gratitude.”
