Predjama Castle is a cool Renaissance castle built right into a cave in Slovenia. It's like something out of a fairy tale! You might recognize this castle from movies and series because quite a few scenes have been filmed here over the years. The latest one was The Witcher.

You can visit the castle just from the outside (for free) or you can go in to do the tour (paid). The castle is beautiful and on the tour, you will get to see the different chambers and learn more about its history.

Since the Predjama Castle is located very close to the Postojna Caves, we recommend visiting both sites on the same day, as a day trip from Ljubljana.
