This beach is known as a beach with Caribbean vibes due to the white sand and shallow turquoise water. Diakoftis Beach is located behind the airport and can be reached via a dirt road. The spot actually has two beaches, but they are both called Diakoftis Beach

The beach is surrounded by a unique landscape of sand dunes and rocky coves. While it can get windy due to its southern location, Diakoftis Beach is a must-visit in our opinion! Just make sure it's not too windy since you don't want to be sandblasted.

Also nice due to the location next to the airport is that you'll see aeroplanes landing from very closeby!

Due to the beauty of this beach is quiet busy. Still worth it, but if you can visit this place off-season that's the best time.
