Leif Boutique Oceanfront, as the name suggests, is right on the oceanfront but still in the heart of Da Nang. What immediately caught our attention when we were looking for a stay was the hotel’s boho chic design style. It also has a modern, youthful vibe, especially in the interior, with terrazzo concrete, black accents, wood, and a light, airy feel throughout.
If you book a room with a balcony, you get a stunning view of the ocean and the white sandy beach of Da Nang. The breakfast was really nice—they had cute small pastries along with all the usual breakfast items you’d expect at a good hotel. The service felt like that of a hotel with stars, even though this boutique hotel doesn’t officially have a star rating.
The bathroom had a cozy vibe with stunning built-in ceiling lights and beautiful tile work. While you won’t find five-star luxury amenities like bathtubs or ultra-luxurious robes, you still get a lot of the comfort you’d want when vacationing in Vietnam. We can definitely recommend this hotel—it’s also quite affordable. You can book a week’s stay for around 400 euros, though if you want one of the rooms with a great view, you’re looking at around 700 euros.
Our stay felt too short because our time in Vietnam was limited, so we had to do a lot of hotel hopping, but this is one of the places we’d definitely recommend.
