Schadau park is a beautiful English style park Thun, the nicest place to enjoy views of the lake and surrounding mountain peaks.

It's free to visit the park, with a lovely lakeside promenade and lots of grassy areas to lounge and picnic. The historic Schadau castle (now converted into a hotel) adds a romantic atmosphere, great for photos.

For little kids, there is a nice playground and little steam train ride that runs on every other Sunday (see current schedule).
