Alplersee is a mountain lake located at 1507m above sea level on the slopes of the Rophaien mountain. This charming lake is a popular spot for taking walks, swimming, and - in wintertime, ice skating! It can be reached from Riemenstalden - if you decide to hike up to the Rophaien, it is a moderately challenging hike (11.1km, 1037m elevation gain, 5h40min to complete, out&back). If you decide to stay at the lake you will spare 90min one way and around 500m of elevation gain.
