The Rocha do Navio viewpoint, located in Santana on Madeira's north coast, offers stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding coastline. The area features the Ilhéu da Viúva, a small island rising 94 meters high, known for its rich botanical heritage and unique plant species. This site is part of the Natura 2000 Network.

A steep path from the viewpoint leads down to the Rocha do Navio Natural Reserve, named after a 19th-century shipwreck of a Dutch boat. This marine reserve, stretching between Ponta do Clérigo and Ponta de São Jorge, includes Ilhéu da Viúva and Ilhéu da Rocha das Vinhas.

Accessible by foot or cable car, the reserve is valued for both its recreational appeal and its preserved natural heritage. The Rocha do Navio viewpoint is a perfect spot to enjoy Madeira's natural beauty in peace.
