Skolestua Guesthouse in Lofoten is a cozy spot housed in an old schoolhouse, offering a taste of local history and culture. With homemade buffet made by an old couple of Norwegians. it's the perfect place to have lunch or dine after exploring Lofoten's stunning landscapes. The guesthouse itself is comfy and charming, blending modern amenities with a touch of nostalgia. Skolestua is a gem that combines delicious local food, warm service, and historical charm.
Important to book your table in advance. There are 3 seating times for lunch and 3 for dinner. We called and they had availability at 17:30 ( for dinner ) so we booked it. We paid something like NOK300 per person and you can eat everything you want from the buffet. I found a very cosy place, with very delicious local food, a warm service and a very nice atmosphere!
If you wanna taste the REAL norwegian food, made by locals.. come here! you will love this local experience :)
