Forest Park in Portland, Oregon is a massive urban forest reserve that covers over 5,200 acres of mostly second-growth forest with some old growth patches. It's like a giant green oasis overlooking the Willamette River, with more than 80 miles of trails for hiking and exploring. Home to a variety of wildlife and lush vegetation, it's a popular spot for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts looking to escape the city hustle and bustle. Just watch out for the occasional crime and invasive plants trying to take over the place! There are several starting points and trailheads and you can make any hike and long or as short as you want!
