Sólheimajökull is a popular glacier in Iceland, easily accessible from Reykjavík and known for its stunning ice formations and crevasses. It's part of the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap, which covers the infamous Katla volcano. Sadly Sólheimajökull is rapidly shrinking due to climate change.
