Golden sandy beach and turquoise waters make it look more like a Mediterranean paradise than your typical Icelandic beach. This is a really nice place to take a short walk and see how diverse Iceland's landscape can be just a stone-throw away from the other usual black sand beaches.

Just do not try bathing there, this place is knows for its strong currents.
