Svalvogaviti lighthouse, built in 1920, stands as a picturesque beacon along the rugged Westfjords coastline of Iceland. Unless you have a good 4x4 with high clearance, you should only drive here from the North. The southern road has some tricky sections, some of which are being regulary flooded during high tide.
