Located about 15 miles from Hofn, this spot offers a glimpse of the icy lagoon at the glacier's tongue. This place has much more raw feel compared to some other glacier lagoons + it is away from crowds.

You will need a 4x4 to reach the parking near glacier otherwise you will need to hike for about 3-4km which might not be worth it if you're short on time.

You can take a dip in Hofell hot tubs on your way back.
