This waterfall resembles the mighty Skógafoss waterfall in the south but there is hardly anyone there! It’s only a 5-mnute walk from the parking lot, so it’s a nice quick stop to add to your trip around the Golden Circle.

Fun fact – This waterfall was used as a shooting location for HBO's Game of Thrones as the home of the Children of the Forest.
