From the outside, this authentic Indian food eatery is easy to miss but once you step inside you are transformed to an upscale restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. They use local Icelandic ingredients seasoned with spices imported directly from India. The flavors you’ll find on the menu are bold, spicy, savory, and oh so satisfying.

If you’re into cocktails, they have delectable flavors. My favorite is the spicy margarita. They have dishes for meat eaters and plant-based people too, so it’s easy for mixed groups to gather here for a great meal.

They are located directly next to the theater Bíóparadís on Hverfisgata in downtown Reykjavík.
