This waterfall is accessible via a short hike on a well maintained path.

Shelving Rock Falls is a beautiful 50-foot waterfall located in the Shelving Rock area of the Lake George Wild Forest in New York.

You can choose to dedicate a few hours hiking the Shelving Rock Falls + summit loop (see the link below) or save time and just go straight to the waterfall.

It's accessible to the whole family, with two separate trails leading to the top and bottom of the falls. To get there, park in the parking lot on Shelving Rock Road. Walk back out to the road, take a right, and follow the path along the river just past the bridge.
