This park is home to a unique geological feature - drumlins, or elliptical hills.

These formations were created from glacial deposits from the last ice age and have been eroded into amazing spires that tower 150 feet above the rocky shore of Lake Ontario.

You can explore the bluffs via two trails:

  1. The Meadow Trail: starts in the main parking area and takes you to the edge of the lake

  2. The Bluff Trail: starts at the end of East Bay Road and slowly ascends through the forest up to the overlook toward the Chimney Bluffs. From there, follow the blue-marked Drumlin Trail back down to complete the loop

Make sure to heed caution when exploring the bluffs, however, as there are steep drop-offs and overhangs. The bluffs are also very fragile, so avoid climbing them.
