With its peak reaching 669 meters above sea level, Lion's Head is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Many people enjoy hiking to the top, especially during full moon when the views are even more magical. Covered in fynbos, a unique vegetation found only in Cape Town, Lion's Head is home to a diverse range of small animals. Its rich biodiversity makes it a special place to explore and appreciate nature. The hike is medium level, the last bit of the hike is quite steep, but there are chains and ladders to hold on to to make it to the top.
