Antico Ponte Romano di Fornoli is a medieval bridge (remember that Romano signifies the Romanesque period from the 10th to 13 centuries and not the Roman period). It's been called a stepping stone between northern and central Italy and is located at the foot of the Passo della Cisa. It's used by locals and by pilgrims traversing the Via Francigena.
It is located on a trail between the village of Fornoli and the town of Villafranca in Lunigiana.
