Sombrio Beach Trailhead (Qwa:qlis) Park is a popular spot in Juan de Fuca Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada. This 1.7-mile out-and-back trail offers a moderately challenging hike down to Sombrio Beach, where you can camp, hike, and enjoy paddle sports. The highlight of the trail is a hidden waterfall along the coast that creates a picturesque small gorge. Just make sure to check the tide tables before heading out, as high tide can block access to certain areas. Overall, it's a beautiful and diverse area to explore year-round, with opportunities to see wildlife, wildflowers, and stunning ocean views.
