The Hunter Logging Road trail in McConnell Creek, British Columbia offers a moderately challenging 4.8-mile out-and-back hike with a rewarding view of Stave Lake at the top. The trail follows a logging road, making it easy to navigate, and is popular for birding, hiking, and snowshoeing. Just be aware that it's an active logging area, so keep an eye out for signs and other users. And don't forget your furry friend - dogs are welcome on leash!
