Elk Mountain is a stunning 5.1 mile out and back trail located near Slesse Park, British Columbia. With an elevation gain of 2595 feet, it has become a popular trekking destination due to its access to diverse scenery and breathtaking views. The trail can become quite challenging as the path progresses, but it is worth the effort for anyone looking for a unique outdoor adventure. Hikers might find themselves in the presence of wildflowers, wildlife, snow, and frozen mud amidst their climb to the top. Once they reach the peak, they will soon be met with captivating views of the Chilliwack River and Fraser Valley. For those up for the challenge, the hike can be extended towards Mount Thurston and other trails. Dogs are welcome on leash so feel free to bring your furry friends along!
