Festvågtind Park in the Lofoten Islands, Norway offers a challenging yet rewarding hike with stunning views over Henningsvaer. The trail starts with a rocky scramble and climbs steeply to the summit, providing panoramic vistas on clear days. Even if the weather doesn't cooperate, the hike still offers a great way to experience the beauty of the Lofoten Islands. Just watch out for those slippery rocks on the way back down!
To find 'Engagement Rock" in photos above, continue past the Festavagtinden peak along a well worn trail. It will be on the left about 300-350 metres and take a left. The trail should be visible - do not try to scale the cliffside. Keep following the trail around the front of the rock pile until you reach the Engagement Rock. This section is STEEP and slippery so use extreme caution, and only attempt if you are capable and it is on a clear dry day.
