This is a really cool hike, that I would recommend to anyone staying in Sarajevo a little bit longer and having more time on their hands. Skakavac Waterfall in the Nature Reserve with the same name is not really a hidden spot among locals but it still is among most tourists. On the hike, you might find yourself all by yourself, just surrounded by nature at quite a few occasions. You can hike directly to the waterfall from the starting point of the hike, Hotel Promaja (https://goo.gl/maps/HKwjeKKE3vr7M9Rs6) but I recommend you do the loop over Bukovik. Halfway you will find Bukovik Mountain Cottage – a perfect place for a little break. If you click on my Komoot link, you can follow the exact tour we did.

Total distance: 9 km Return time: 4 to 5 hours with a break Elevation: 400 m Difficulty: moderate
