Hike
2-3h
This loop is really nice for an afternoon. Silvermine Nature Reserve is not as busy as other national parks in the area, so you can find more peace and quiet here, especially if you don't go on a day with the most perfect weather. I would say it's also suitable for children. When we went, we didn't see the waterfall because it was dried up, so if you really want to see it, it's best to go after rain or in the winter.
How to find the starting point of the hike: The gate for this hike is just off the Ou Kaapse trail on the left side of the road if you are coming from the Constantia/Tokai side. This route is not very demanding. It is ideal for families. This waterfall bubbles best after some rain or in winter.
