Hallgrimskirkja is a Lutheran church located in Reykjavik, Iceland. It is the largest church in Iceland and one of the tallest structures in the country. The church was designed by architect Guðjón Samúelsson and was completed in 1986. The church is named after the Icelandic poet and clergyman Hallgrímur Pétursson. The church features a large pipe organ and a statue of Leif Erikson outside. The church is a popular tourist attraction and offers stunning views of the city from its observation deck.
