Malla Strict Nature Reserve is situated in the remotest corner of the Käsivarsi region in northwestern Lapland, by the Scandinavian Mountains. The Kilpisjärvi region has the highest fells in Finland and these, Kitsiputous Falls, are located along the hiking trail leading to the Three Nations' Border Point.
