This Black Sand Beach in the town of Vik is a lot more secluded than the touristy Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach (You still should not skip that) But you're more likely to be alone on this beach or at least almost alone. You have different views of the sea stacks which are beautiful and you can wander all around the Beach.

You'll drive along a black sand road until you reach a small parking lot, Then you can walk right onto the beach. Sometimes there is too much snow you will have to walk a little longer (maybe 5 minutes) but it's always worth it.

I love stopping here to escape the crowds or stretch the legs on a long road trip.
