This hidden gem is a lesser known valley with amazing views on the drive in. In the summer, any car can drive this dirt road. There are so many pull offs on the road in so feel free to make as many stops as you want to explore the surrounding area. It is ruggedly beautiful!
At the end, there is a campsite and small cabins if you wish to stay overnight, it is basically a little oasis and always great weather here. You can take small big hikes or a take a nice little walk at the end on the right. This one I highly recommend.
It is one of my favorite places to camp because there is a cave with a fireplace, grill and tables! If you stay overnight there are many roads and paths that can be explored!
You can take a short hike (10 minutes) at the end of the canyon to the right. You'll go up to a waterfall and a natural pool which you can jump in for a polar plunge challenge. It's a beautiful walk that you should do even if you don't want to swim.
