This is the only zoo in Iceland. It's hard to call it a zoo because it's super small but it's a great time for the family, especially young kids. You can get super close to seals, reindeer, arctic foxes, goats, cows, horses, and lots of other animals. All the animals here are injured animals who were rescued from the wild. There is also a play area for children, sort of like a theme park but a much lower scale.
Fjölskylduland is Iceland's first holistic Indoor Playground and Family Center, offering a safe and stimulating environment for children up to six years old. Designed by therapists, it provides the right amount of appropriate stimulation for kids while also serving as a meetup spot for parents to socialize and relax. With a variety of workshops, classes, and events, Fjölskylduland is a one-stop family hub that aims to support families in a fun and engaging way.
