This campsite on Vatnsnes peninsula presents one of the best places to watch seals as lounge, bask in the sun, or haul out in Iceland. There is a trail for seal watching and a hut in case of adverse weather.
The campsite's peaceful surroundings, with only the sound of the ocean waves, make it perfect for walks, hikes, and seal or bird watching activities. There's also a swimming pool/hot tub in the area.
IMPORTANT: From the 1st of May to the 20th of June, the campsite is closed to the public for eider ducks to nest in peace.
